The BSSA is a friendly group of active hobbyist beekeepers who meet regularly to share our knowledge, experience, develop our beekeeping skills and have fun!

The BSSA is dedicated to advancing the education of the public in the importance of bees in the environment.

NEW MEMBERS ARE MOST WELCOME!

MEETINGS

Second Monday of the month. Covid Safe at Burnside Community Center. General Meeting starts 7.30 pm.

Recordings of our meetings will be on the previous meetings page a week or so afterwards.

Beginner & intermediate classes starts at 6.30 pm. Bookings essential. Visit our classes page for information and booking.

EVENTS

In addition to monthly meetings, we run regular practical field days for those that want to get hands-on experience in a hive.

We also organise excursions guided by local experts, and attend public events such as the Royal Adelaide Show and Sophie's Patch open garden
